Distinguished colleagues and respected guests,
It is a privilege to address you as we convene for INASMEET 2026, the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (HOGI), taking place on November 6–8, 2026, at Hotel Atria, Malang.
In an era where scientific progress moves at an unprecedented pace, the challenge before us is no longer limited to generating knowledge, but ensuring that such knowledge meaningfully transforms patient care. Guided by this perspective, this year’s theme, “From Research to Clinical Impact: Shaping the Future of Gynecology & Oncology,” emphasizes the importance of translating evidence into real-world outcomes that truly benefit the women we serve.
Rather than viewing research and clinical practice as separate domains, we must continue to integrate both as part of a continuous cycle of learning, evaluation, and improvement. The ability to critically interpret emerging evidence, adapt it to our local context, and apply it responsibly remains essential—especially within healthcare systems that face varying levels of resources and access.
Over the years, INASMEET has evolved into more than just an academic gathering. It represents a dynamic forum where ideas are exchanged, professional relationships are strengthened, and new perspectives are formed. This year’s program has been carefully designed to encourage active participation, thoughtful discussion, and cross-disciplinary collaboration—creating an environment where innovation can thrive.
I extend my sincere appreciation to all speakers, organizers, and participants for their valuable contributions. May this meeting serve as a catalyst for continued progress in our field and, ultimately, for better outcomes in the care of our patients.
